Matriculation Courses for Master‘s Degree Students
To ensure that students have uniform and up-to-date knowledge, first year students must take pre-program (matriculation) courses for four weeks before the semester starts. The courses offered are (i) Introduction to Academic Writing, (ii) Introduction to Linguistics, (iii) English Phonetics & Phonology, and (iv) English Morphology & Syntax.
Prerequisite Courses for Doctoral Degree Students
To ensure that students have uniform and up-to-date background knowledge, certain first year students (i.e., those considered not to have enough background in linguistics) are required to take certain courses from the master’s degree program.
